We fixed an issue that does not log the source IP address and machine name for an online PowerShell connection. We added Server Message Block (SMB) redirector (RDR) specific public File System Control (FSCTL) code FSCTL_LMR_QUERY_INFO. We made the SMB client and SMB server cipher suite order configurable using PowerShell,” Microsoft explains.

Obviously, there are lots of other alterations in this preview build, as the focus is on preparing the next major feature update for the production rollout.

For example, if you uninstall Windows Terminal, when you right-click the beginning menu on your device, you should now begin to see the Windows PowerShell.

For these certificates, the certificate chain status could be, “This certificate was revoked by its certification authority,” the organization explains.

Keep in mind this is still a preview build, so you could still encounter various problems when running it. At this point, an ETA regarding when each one of these improvements could go love production devices isn’t yet available.
