AMD has announced the availability of a latest version of its Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver, namely the 20.7.1 (21.20.17.01) package, which improves performance by as much as 6% when playing F1 2021 @ 4K Ultra High settings and as much as 26% @ 1080p Ultra High settings.
Moreover, the present release implements support for Radeon RX 6600M and RX 6700M GPUs, makes sure there is no Oculus service error received on Radeon RX 5000 & 6000 cards, and resolves the lighting corruption observed in Apex Legends when Radeon Boost is enabled.
Besides these changes, AMD’s update ensures 3DMark Time Spy and User Experience Program won’t use up a heightened amount of memory, corrects Carrion image corruption when Anisotropic Filtering is enabled, and fixes other problems as highlighted in the Release Notes below.
However, AMD’s update might still notice a few issues with the Game Compatibility advisor, Enhanced Sync, Resident Evil Village title, certain AMD Athlon mobile systems, along with other minor issues also described below.
When it comes to compatibility, besides a supported GPU, remember that your configuration must be running a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating-system. Do not try installing the package on other platforms because this could trigger various malfunctions.
Therefore, remove any previous version present on your pc, save and run the package on your system, watch for all files necessary to be produced available, and follow all instructions shown on the screen for an entire upgrade.
With this thought, if you consider employing this release, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 20.7.1, install it and execute a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to remain “updated about a minute ago.”
