Windows 10 Paint App Available these days in the Microsoft Store

Microsoft has taken the Paint app to the Microsoft Store, so in no time, users could have it as with every other application for Windows 10.

The software giant has announced that Paint will make its method to the Microsoft Store in the past, however the company hasn’t shared any new specifics in connection with this, so today’s news certainly comes as just a little surprise.

But as pointed out by AL, Paint isn’t yet available for download in the Store, though because of the listing is already live, it shouldn’t take too long before the download links are ready to go.

The Paint 3D bet

The Windows 10 Creators Update introduced the new-generation Paint replacement called Paint 3D, with Microsoft rolling it like a major overhaul that would specifically push the traditional solution to a completely new level.

But Paint 3D, on the other hand, has failed to gain traction, with most people staying with the classic Paint for small edits and basic items.

And today Microsoft too is backtracking on its bet for Paint 3D, with the company to no longer pre-install the applying on Windows 10 starting with the next operating-system update.

“3D Viewer and Paint 3D will no longer be preinstalled on clean installs from the latest Insider Preview builds. Both apps it’s still available in the Store and can remain on your device after an OS update. So, should you upgraded your PC like normal, you shouldn’t see these apps changed inside your app list,” Microsoft said.

Quite simply, in addition to the classic Paint app, Paint 3D would also make its way towards the Microsoft Store within the possible future, so users would technically be able to download it at any time they need on their own Windows 10 devices.
